Hewlett Packard employees will see their paychecks cut by 2.5%. Some of their employee benefits will also be cut. Approximately 2,000 workers are employed at the Hewlett Packard facility in Corvallis, Oregon. Base pay for exempt employees will be cut by 5%. Base pay for non-exempt (hourly) employees will be cut by 2.5%. Hewlett Packard will continue a "Pay for Performance Strategy" with a bonus plan that means that employees may be able to make up the base pay cuts through performance bonuses. www.gazettetimes.com
