Inaugurating our new "Focus" series, we examine the wines of Italy's Piedmont region close up. From this north-western area of the country come the nebbiolo-based Barolo & Barbaresco, two of Italy's (and the world's) most famous and greatest wines. Also the tasty barbera, dolcetto and moscato, popular the world over.
