Our feature business this week is Dead Center Reloading & Gun Shop located in Corvallis, Oregon at 29974 Highway 99W just south of Corvallis Airport. Last week I had the pleasure of interviewing the owner DC Hobbs. How refreshing it can be to talk with a gentleman who first off knows his trade and second is very personable and easy to talk with about most anything! DC Hobbs did his homework before opening this establishment. The previous owner evidently lacked those particular skills that enables one to be successful. DC Hobbs researched the market and attended Business Classes at Linn Benton Community College. Mr. Hobbs had a good business plan prior to buying the business. He had the assistance of his attorney and accountant, Alternative Business Solutions, who "crunched" the numbers and concluded it was feasible for DC Hobbs to open his dream business. DC Hobbs is originally from Michigan and has experience with guns since his youth. He was interviewd by the ATF, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms a Federal Agency, prior to receiving his license to operate as a Gun Shop. 
If you are a serious hunter or just a gun enthusiast you will want to take the time to drive down Highway 99 and visit DC Hobbs at his place of business. Hunters who want their Ammo made to their specification will be pleased by the service DC Hobbs will provide. Dead Center Reloading has customers from Benton County and from literally all parts of the Northwest. DC Hobbs also holds classes in Gun Safety which makes perfect since if you are thinking of purchasing any type of weapon. DC Hobbs even has his own brand of Ammo, DCR Ammo. It is worth your time just to stop by and talk to DC Hobbs even if you are not a hunter. His knowlege is formidable and best of all he is a "nice guy"!
