The Wednesday Farmer's Market in Downtown Corvallis had a large crowd this week and had just about the best strawberries one could wish for, sweet as sugar. I must have sampled strawberries from at least a dozen different vendors. They were all delicious! The Davis Family Farm, located on Highway 20, had some of the best tomato's I have seen this season. The Wednesday Farmer's Market, since moving from the Benton County Fair Grounds, has seen a considerable increase in foot traffic. The Downtown Corvallis site, near the Corvallis skate park, is close to the downtown Corvallis Business District and is just a short walk for office workers once they leave the office at 5 pm. If you have not yet taken the opportunity to stop by in the past three or four weeks, make sure that you take the time next Wednesday!
