Corvallis Library Oregon 1859 A Snapshot In Time August 5, 2008

The Corvallis Benton County Library was fortunate to have Janice Marschner, author of Oregon 1859 A Snapshot in time, provide a discussion on her recently published book.

Approximately 100 interested attendees listened attentively to the author, Janice Marschner, talk about Oregon from 1859 and earlier. A slide presentation included pictures and lithographs that allowed the audience to see what Oregon looked like in the mid-ninteenth century.

The book is an inspiring closeup portrait that lights the way back for travelers and those interested in History. Corvallistidbits was there and would recommend purchasing this book. The paperback version is on sale for $27.95.
