As a resident of Corvallis, I have been a fairly regular customer of the Saturday Farmers Market in Corvallis for the past five years. This year I wanted to focus on the individual vendors at the Saturday Farmers Market. Corvallistidbits will feature one vendor each week and share the story of that business with our readers. 
This week our first feature vendor is Afton Field Farm. Alicia and Tyler Jones own and operate Afton Field Farm in Corvallis. They own 106 acres off of 53rd street in Corvallis. Their booth at the Corvallis Farmers Market caught my eye immediately. The farm fresh eggs stood out as being literally only hours from having been collected from some hard working chickens. The chickens are grass fed and pasture raised. Afton Field Farm has fresh chicken for sale along with beef, pork, lamb and fresh honey.
