Saratoga Springs, NY's own Southampton has brewed a Belgian style white ale with coriander and curacao orange.

Recently I have been in the mood for wheat and Belgian style ales and wanted to try something new.

This iteration did not disappoint and was very rewarding and enjoyable.

I served this ice cold in a frosty mug with pizza and I found it bright and clean with just a hint of a wheat after taste.

The ale poured a pale gold with a weak head.

Though this is a cloudy ale, it is not gritty or heavy in texture.

The coriander comes through in the aroma but the citrus was very faint.

If I had lemons on hand I would have served this with a wedge. In any case this is a very nice Belgian style beer for the summer.
