This is a pizza beer as nothing goes better with this then just that.

The beer pours a light amber with a weak head.

The aroma was sweet as it smelled like it was laced with brown sugar which was further complimented by floral hops.

For the most part, this beer tastes just like it smelled. The hops drove this beer but in the back of my mouth I could taste a mild sweet flavor.

There was a lot of carbonation that went well with the hops and it helped release the aroma enhancing the drinkability.

I just find the balance of the bitter hops and light sweetness goes hand in hand with a tangy tomato sauce and the yeast from a good pizza crust.  Pizza is a perfect compliment for this beer.

The Beer Review Page

"Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."

-- Benjamin Franklin

The Beer Prayer
Our lager,
Which art in barrels,
Hallowed be thy drink.
They will be drunk,
At home as in the tavern.
Give us this day our foam head,
And forgive us our spillages,
As we forgive those who spill against us.
And lead us not to incarceration,
But deliver us from hangovers.
For thine is the beer,
The bitter and the lager,
Forever and ever.
Amen
