Dogfish Head Craft Brewery from Milton, DE has a very interesting weisse with their Festina Peche. And I mean interesting.

This wheat pours golden and relatively cloudy. From there things go wild. There is not much of a smell but that very first sip!

Well I puckered up because this is one tart and sour beer (malt beverage).

The tartness mellows after that and all I can taste is a light carbinated peach drink.

To me this is not a beer and more like a wine cooler. I would not get this again.

This is the first Dogfish I have tried and I have heard good things about them. I was very disappointed with the Festina Peche and I do hope not typical of their other products.

OK, so it could be a little less fruity but for me it tasted great. I really do despise those horrid fruit mixed drinks, and my usual tipple is other Dogfish Head and microbrewery stuff. If you are looking for a more authentic Dogfish Head experience try their Indian Brown Ale, 90 min IPA etc. They are really good.
