I picked this up because I recently enjoyed Boulder Beer - Singletrack Copper Ale and I thought the bottle was cool. Plus I am still in my hoppy IPA mood and trying everything in that style. I found this to be exactly what it claims to be, a dry beer infused with a piney hop aroma. The aroma smelled like a pine air-freshener that one may pick up at an auto parts store. I have never smelled hops that were that piney before. It was not offensive just unique. It still was very floral. However, I was disappointed a little by the flavor. Or lack of. It was mellow, dry and earthy with a bitter finish. There was a slight lemony tartness that brightened up the raw earthiness of the overall flavor. There really was not a lot of flavor to this but it was grainy. The body was light to medium as was the carbonation. There was almost a grittiness about the texture that added to the earthy quality of the beer. Overall, I found this to be an OK drink but not what I was expecting. The aroma was strong but the beer lacked flavor. Boulder's Copper Ale was also light, but I liked that a lot better.
