Maybe this was not the most unique White Ale I have had but I found it to be a nice, drinkable beer. Bell's White was fairly typical of the style.

This winter beer poured a cloudy-unfiltered gold with a weak head.

The aroma was also weak but with light notes of bread and wheat.

I found the taste was dominated by the wheat and as I said earlier, fairly typical of the style.

The background was laced with mild nutmeg like spices and possibly some cinnamon. I also was surprised to tasted some floral hops at the finish. I liked the hops at the end and with good carbonation added brightness to this ale.

I have tried a number of beers from Bell's (before I started this site) and I do like this brewer a lot. Still my all time favorite from them is their Oberon.

"Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."

-- Benjamin Franklin

The Beer Prayer
Our lager,
Which art in barrels,
Hallowed be thy drink.
They will be drunk,
At home as in the tavern.
Give us this day our foam head,
And forgive us our spillages,
As we forgive those who spill against us.
And lead us not to incarceration,
But deliver us from hangovers.
For thine is the beer,
The bitter and the lager,
Forever and ever.
Amen
