Boomers are more technology challenged than anyone at first thought. A recent survey by the A.A.R.P (American Association of Retired People) presented the fact that older boomers, 60 years and up, cannot deal with their I-Pod, but have the expertise to deal with complicated processes such as manual arithmetic computations. The younger boomers, those born in the 1960's are just the opposite. The younger boomers are, for the most part, up to date with technology, but lack the skills necessary to perform calculations without a computer. I suppose it is all about the evolution of the teaching/learning process over the past 60 years.
