My name is Linn. I was born and raised in Sweden, however currently I live in Oregon. I run a small design company called House of Adeline that is focused on providing fine handmade laptop sleeves. I think of Candles and Tea as my studio where I can write about my various projects, current fascinations, inspirations and more.

I do love many things, however I’m particularly fond of things that require time – the process of things great. I love to bake fantastic artisan breads and make big slow cooking pots, work on sewing projects using fine materials and see the item come together one detail at a time. I enjoy thinking about gardening and the process of making cheese, wine, beer and more. The idea of being self sufficient really does appeal to me.

More than anything, I suppose I love things that exude a sense of old fashioned quality and substance. That goes for clothing, furniture, kitchen appliances, accessories, book covers, writing instruments, teapots and more.

The name Candles and Tea is a reflection of the environment I like best: soft lit candles; pots of Earl Grey, oolong and rooibos; warm blankets; soft music; hours of reading, long walks; tweed coats; piano playing; crusty bread; Stilton; fig marmalade and Pinot Noir.
