First Day in The New House

We closed on the house yesterday, so it's finally ours. The whole process went very smoothly, and even though it only took about 30 days, it felt like it took longer than that. Walking through our little bungalow feels a bit weird, it's just hard to realize this is our home now.

When I wander through the rooms the flow feels so good. The light comes through the nice big windows and with all of them open, there is a fresh breeze. And even though the house is small, it doesn't feel tight.

The neighborhood is so charming. It's green and lush and the people seem very friendly. There are kids playing, people going by on their bikes, and there is life around, although so far it has been quiet and peaceful.

houseOur house has a very nice small front porch. It's the perfect spot for sitting down in the sun and relaxing, and I'm sure we'll get a lot of use out of it.
