Done Tiling The Kitchen

So after a few days of tiling, we're finally done with that part. Everything ALWAYS takes longer than you think it's going to, and that was the case this time too. 

Doesn't it look super nice! It feels so clean and the added texture works very well.

We got lots and lots of scraps. Luckily this white subway tile is cheap and easy to get, because we wasted quite a bit in the process. Tiling was pretty fun - a little annoying at times, tricky to get completely right and time consuming (however we did tile a lot of wallspace, most people just tile a backsplash but we had several walls to do!), but fun. Next time we do any tiling though, we would definitely rent a tile saw instead of using a tile cutter so we could get better cuts, since it was especially difficult to get it very professional looking around outlets in particular.
