Busy Using Fruits & Berries in the Kitchen

So far we have gotten a pretty good use of our cosy little kitchen. We are thoroughly enjoying it, it's so nice to finally have a bright and clean spot to cook and invent new things. In our neighborhood there is actually a fair amount of fruit and berries to harvest. So far I have been out picking apples, pears, plums, blackberries and flowers. I figured, as long as the tree is located on the little strip of grass between the sidewalk and the street, and not on somebody's property - or if a hedge is heavy with fruit facing the sidewalk, it should be fair game to do some picking!

back after a walk with plums, blackberries and apples - plus nice flowers.

starting out making plum clafoutis.

Enjoying it so much, the next day I made a blackberry clafoutis!

Also, trying out making apple sauce.

More plums left, hm what to do?

It's been hot here - it was a good idea to make pasta salad and keep in the fridge.

I'm also trying to wake up my very-tired sourdough which has been in a dry state for over a year now. It's going pretty slow, but I think it's finally starting to come back to life after multiple feedings...
